JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position will be to perform product repair and maintenance for various products while also supporting our customers. This individual will also oversee the other Bench Technicians to ensure the best possible throughput for upcoming maintenance. This position aims to fulfill service repair obligations to SITECH Ohio Customers promptly.
COMPETENCIES:
- Must possess mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- Ability to prioritize work based on customer requirements, while obtaining service goals and objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to install programs, copy files, and download/upload upgrades to various equipment.
- Good time management skills, analytical decision-making skills, and can work with minimal supervision.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have a two-year technical degree or at least two years of experience in electronics, mechanical, or optical service repairs.
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills are required to determine the product issues and provide the best possible solution.
- Must have strong computer skills and the ability to navigate Microsoft applications, install programs, copy files, and download and upload upgrades to various equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Forty (40) pounds Lift/Carry and Fifty (50) pounds lift and pull. Up and downstairs, standing, sitting, and climbing onto/into machines. Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
