JOB SUMMARY: 

The Master Machinist must be capable of machining, ferrous and non-ferrous materials, to tight tolerance specifications, per instructions and blueprint, utilizing a variety of machine shop equipment, including manual engine lathe, horizontal boring mill, vertical boring mill, horizontal saw, overhead crane, forklift, and other related equipment & tooling. CNC experience is a plus but not required. 

• Must be proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and indicators, among others.  
• Requires exercising good judgment and utilizing best machining practices.
• Requires attention to detail and ability to read blueprints.

• High school graduate minimum
• Three – Five years of machine shop experience is desired, preferably in a repair or equipment maintenance-related environment, though other industry experience will be considered.
