JOB SUMMARY:
As a Shoring Advisor/Slide Rail Installer at Ohio Cat, you will be responsible for field installation, product training & development, and solution consultations for customers. You will support on-site installation instructions of slide rail systems to all existing and potential customers. You’ll be instrumental in providing shoring operations solutions for the branches. You will be supported by a strong management team that will help you achieve your goals.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience on Slide Rail Systems and Installation.
- Minimum 3-5 years underground construction experience.
- Knowledge of underground construction equipment capabilities, soil conditions, and safe working capacities.
- Knowledge of OSHA safe working practices and applicable state and local requirements relative to Trench and Excavation Shoring and Shielding.
- A valid driver’s license with medical card, and acceptable driving record, along with the ability to travel 75% of the time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
In office: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
For field work: the working environment is subject to all weather and outdoor environments. The physical demands may include but not limited to continuously standing or walking, ability to bend and climb, lift to 75 pounds, and swing a 20-pound sledgehammer. In addition, this role requires 75% travel.
