JOB SUMMARY: 
Target and develop strategic accounts focused on Custom Containerized Packaged Products. A focus on Motor Control Centers, battery storage, electric rooms, and more.   
Work with the Engineering Team to meet specific needs on each customized container project.   
Assist the General Manager and sales manager with growth, implementation, and all other customer-related issues.   
Establishes policies on issues specific to each Strategic Account and their needs.   
Be sure all policies, procedures, and processes are followed as they relate to the CRM (Sales Link).   
100% CRM (Sales Link) usage to maintain account information.   
Communicated to the Sales Manager all information as it relates to Strategic Accounts and customized container packages.   
Analyzes needs and establishes development and training programs as needed.   
Possesses excellent people skills and can delegate effectively within all departments.   
Work closely with the credit/collections department.   
Work to develop marketing plans to penetrate new accounts.   
Work with sales/marketing team members to stay informed of market conditions and customer needs.    
Analyze the national markets and respond appropriately to changes in market conditions to increase opportunities in the customizable container packaging business segment.   
Makes direct customer contact routinely to ensure customer satisfaction levels.   
Obtain 100% of business plan net revenue goals based on strategic targets.   
Collaborate with sales and operational management to develop focused strategic accounts.   
Work to obtain overall profitability with strategic accounts set forth by the General Manager and Sales Manager.   
Oversee the negotiation of major customized container opportunities.   
Schedule quarterly meetings with management to update on account progress.   
Follow up with all Strategic Accounts on outstanding accounts receivable as needed.   
Develop Strategic Account plans and strategies.   
   
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:   
College degree, formal college training, and/or additional training in the following areas advantage. Knowledge and understanding of the training and support capabilities within the Caterpillar organization. Knowledge of the operations, sales, service, and all other systems that pertain to account growth.    
Experience in the manufacturing and equipment industry, with a minimum of ten years of related sales experience. Some closely related industries would include construction, engineering, and distribution. Ability to write proposals, emails, memos, etc. to executive-level managers.   
Ability to organize and deliver basic training on products, operations, sales, service, and systems. Assessment techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating, and reporting on the performance of each. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.   
   
   
   
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:   
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
